How to Active Solidworks Realview Graphics in Nvidia RTX 3000 series

  1. Step 1:It’s very simple! Just click on the Realview button in the program! Does not work? Hmmm… No luck. Then your way straight to the registry. Through the “Run” command, we write “regedit” and go to His Majesty the Registry.
  2. Step 2:In the window that opens, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > SolidWorks > your SolidWorks version > Performance > Graphics > Hardware.If you need to find out what video card you have, then go to the “Current” key in it, look for the “Render” value and use the right mouse button to copy the name of your video card.
  3. Step 3:After that we go to the “Gl2Shaders” key. I have a card from Nvidia, and if you have it too, then do as I do. If you have Radeon, then look for the section you need as I indicated in the screenshot. In both cases, you must select the last sections. If you have some other video card, then fly to Mars and ask there.Right click on the last section of your graphics card brand > next click “New” > “Key”in the generated key, insert the name of your video card model
  4. Step 4:Then we go to the key of the latest video card model in the section. find the Workarounds value and copy the value name and value data.

We return to the video card key that you created, right-click “New” > “DWORD (32-bit) Value. In the created value, insert the value name and value data from the previous video card.
